NectarBee is a product of Kinnectar (ABN 81 851 933 149). We sell a custom square hardcover: family photos, a short story on each page, and a QR code that plays the original voice note. Usual retail is $119 AUD. The intro price is $49 AUD plus shipping. Promo codes at Stripe checkout (including a 100% test code we issue privately) are allowed.
Closed beta means we take a small number of orders. Pay on this site through Stripe, or email if card checkout is not live yet.
After you pay we need: your mobile number, the first name of the child the book is for, their age group (and optional exact age), and a list of relatives who should record (first name + how they are related). You confirm you have permission from everyone who records a voice or appears in a photo.
You have 14 days from the order date to gather voices and photos. We email you so you can chase people (texts later). Relatives record knowing the clip may be printed as a QR in a family book. After the voice is saved they may upload a photo, or skip and you can send one later. We do not listen to the recordings. We may read the short printed story before print.
On day 14 we lock the book. Anyone who has not recorded gets a backup page with our illustration and a short standby story, with no QR. Late voices after lock are not added to the printed book; they may still go in the file pack if they arrive before we send it.
The printed book, plus a download of the voices and photos. Stories stay in the book. Email download links expire after 7 days; keep the zip.
Printed QR codes are meant to keep working for years. They are not the same as the short download links in the email.
Books are printed by a third-party photo-book printer after the 14-day lock. Colour, paper, and trim can vary slightly from a screen. If a copy is damaged in the post, email us and we will sort a reprint or refund for that copy.
Card payments go through Stripe. NectarBee does not see your full card number. Refunds for a damaged copy are by email, as above.
